Winners draw keys for 5 Cars, 5 Winners

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The winners of the 9th annual 5 Cars, 5 Winners promotion have been announced.

The contest kicked off Monday, March 11 at the new freestanding Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Winners will receive one of either a Lexus RC Coupe, Lexus GS Sedan, Lexus UX Crossover, Lexus NX SUV, or a Lexus RX SUV.

On Thursday, May 16, the winning names were drawn on 9News at 5. The winners are:

Gregory McClay of Baton Rouge
Margaret Blackwell of Baton Rouge
Aubrey Cook of Zachary
Connie Harrison of Gonzales
Barbara Collins of Baker

During 9News this Morning on Monday, May 20, the winners drew keys for their new cars.

Officials at OLOL say during this year’s campaign, they raised more than a million dollars for the Children’s Hospital, breaking 2018′s record.

On Tuesday, April 23, the cars were on display as part of Baton Rouge’s Downtown Day, an event held for people to see the cars and encourage people to buy tickets.

All proceeds from the drawing will go towards the Children’s Hospital.
